Woodend Farming Partnership a family farming business based at Woodend Farm near Duns in the Scottish Borders producing wheat, barley, beans, oats, free-range eggs, & renewable energy.

Through constant improvement we have reduced our greenhouse gas emission levels, our dependence on bought in fertiliser and energy and have created additional employment and improved the conservation value of the whole farm.

We recognise that home grown protein and precision farming are among the most effective measures in reducing emissions on our farm and are actively working to do that using beans and intercropping barley with peas and/or lentils.
