Soil and Growth - podcast

A Scottish Ecological Design Association podcast on ‘Soil and growth” – and Dr Pete Iannetta advocates for legumes. From 10:55 to 32:30 minutes on the recording.
Based at the James Hutton Institute, Dr Iannetta is a Plant Biologist and Ecologist who studies the mechanisms which may underpin the design of more sustainable systems with special focus on the role of biological nitrogen fixation by legumes, including the use of rhizobial, AMF and PGPR based inoculum.
His interests are focused on the utility of legumes in production and semi-natural systems. Towards these ends, working with a wide range of academic and industrial partners, and also non-governmental organisations.
