Plant breeding stories - a pod cast
A interview transcript of the Plant Breeding Stories podcast in which Hannah Senior (of PBS International, world leaders in pollination control) talks to to Dr. Pete Iannetta, from the James Hutton Institute in Scotland.
Pete describes himself as an agroecologist, although as you’ll hear, his work does touch on plant breeding. He brings a wide range of influences to his work and a perspective strongly influenced by systems thinking.
They discuss how human behaviour, value chain capability, and ecology feed into thinking about breeding for legumes and demand for these crops.
