Peas as a meat substitute: what does it bring the farmers? 

"Plant meat" is often made from peas. Scientists have now investigated how much German pea cultivation could grow as a result.

Pea cultivation inspired by meat alternatives?

"Field peas are increasingly the basis of meat alternatives."

In order to estimate the consumption share of meat alternatives for the year 2030 in the past meat consumption three scenarios were predicted. This was done in cooperation with the expert panel of the European joint project LegValue . The consumption shares for meat alternatives could be 2%, 12.5% ​​and 40% of the previous meat consumption of 60 kg per person per year
